BLACKPINK’s lead vocalist Jisoo appeared on the cover of ELLE India’s June 2021 issue. In the cover story, she opened up about her bond with the other girls in the group.

“We endured rigorous training together. From the moment we debuted as BLACKPINK, I knew we would succeed as long as the four of us were together,” she said.

Jisoo was photographed wearing head-to-toe looks from Dior, the brand for which she’s one of the ambassadors. She explained that wearing Dior makes her feel confident and strong. She then encouraged other women to find out what makes them feel like that and stick to it.

She also gave them some much needed-advice on embracing what makes them who they are.

“To be truly unique, you have to trust in yourself and yourself alone. But self-acceptance alone won’t work. Be ready to accept and respect all the things that set you apart from everyone else.”
