We can mature gracefully. Yes, we can, and much like excellent wine, we can improve in appearance with age. Our favorite celebrities are not immune to aging, yet despite the wrinkles and drooping skin, they continue to remain stunning.
Let's have a look at these celebrities that look amazing for their age.
MERYL STREEP
"Don’t waste so much time worrying about your skin or your weight. I think the most liberating thing I did early on was to free myself from any concern with my looks as they pertained to my work. Develop what you do, what you put your hands on in the world. You have to embrace getting older. Life is precious, and when you’ve lost a lot of people, you realize each day is a gift."
The Oscar-nominated actress is still looking gorgeous at the age of 72. Her most notable role was playing 'Cruella' in Disney's 101 Dalmatians and playing the mother of Amanda Seyfried in the 2008 film Mamma Mia!
JULIA ROBERTS
The 'Pretty Woman' actress is now 54 years old and looks younger than ever.
According to E News, the star's preferred workout is yoga. In addition, she likes pilates, swimming, and plyometrics (jump training). "After 90 minutes of plyometrics," she remarked, "I'm laying in savasana thinking, 'Phew! I'm so glad that's behind me!'"
When it comes to aging, Roberts has stated that she is "trying to find some peace with the aging process," according to Viva. "Just accepting that it will happen whether I like it or not."
PIERCE BROSNAN
How's that for aging? We can't leave him off the list. At 68, he's in great shape and looks great. The Irish actor, who played James Bond from 1995 to 2002, stated that he had found trust in his life and himself.
In a prior interview, he offered guidance to those who aspire to age as well as him.
"Oh, just love and work. Work and love. That's all it is, really. Be grateful that you have a partnership, or a friendship, or a few friends. And just get on with life. I don't know any other way."
GEORGE CLOONEY
"The only thing you can do that's dumb is try to hold on to things that you aren't anymore, right? You know, there was a picture, I was in Italy and somebody took a picture of me - I think it was a paparazzi picture on the boat, and I saw this old, grey-haired guy on the boat and I was like 'who is that?' And it was me!'
The award-winning star - who is married to barrister Amal Clooney - told Sky News that one should just understand the time and the aging process and with that, someone won't do things that past their due date.
The actor-filmmaker also admitted that his life has changed markedly since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It changed everybody, right? Suddenly, we think Zooming is OK, I haven't seen anybody in person."
Well, that's just a teaser. Keep posted for more of your favorite celebrities and how they achieve such fine looks at their age.
