The Life I Could've Had is an original painting done by Eileen Lee to show the horrors of global rising and what it is causing to happen to the innocent animals living in the arctic region. In this painting, there are two different settings: one with a bright, busting community with beautiful icebergs in the background on a warm, lovely day and another, darker setting with a stranded polar bear hugging tightly to its last bits of ice it has left. The two sides are separated by aurora borealis, or the Northern Lights.
Upon looking at this painting, the viewer is hit with an urge to want to do more to help the environment. This polar bear's life was stolen away from him due to the selfish doings of man. As a whole, humans need to do better to help aid the Earth and to attempt to draw back their actions to decrease the steady rise of global warming. The animals in the world need to be helped as they lose their homes and families due to global warming.
