Golden Child Almost Doubles Their Sales Records in Comeback Album

Golden Child has finally felt the fruit of their endeavors in joining Road to Kingdom.

Golden Child has surpassed their own personal first-week sales record with their current album.

Golden Child made a reappearance last week with the release of "GAME CHANGER," their new studio album, and the accompanying title track "Ra Pam Pam."

The album surpassed Golden Child's previous first-week sales record of 71,485 set by their previous mini album "YES" in just three days, according to Hanteo Chart. According to Hanteo Chart, the fittingly titled "GAME CHANGER" sold an incredible 126,100 copies in its first week of sale (August 2–8), nearly tripling Golden Child's previous record.

It is safe to say that their exposure in the Mnet idol reality show Road to Kingdom has widened their fanbase reach, with many people learning more about them. Add to that Choi Bomin's acting gigs in dramas like 18 Again, this means that Golden Child will soon finally reach the status currently enjoyed by their seniors Infinite and Lovelyz.
