The baddest bitch is back!

CL is confirmed to join the already packed list of groups and solo artists gearing for a summer comeback next month. According to several Korean news outlets, CL is preparing for a comeback in mid-August. Her label Very Cherry has confirmed the news, saying that she already prepared for the song and is aiming to release it in mid-August.

It will be her first solo comeback that will be promoted in Korea formally, since her February comeback with Wish You Were Here was not promoted in music shows.

It is also important to remember that CL signed an agreement with KONNECT Entertainment founded by Kang Daniel, to help her promote her music activities in Korea. She has a planned promotion with her album ALPHA with KONNECT Entertainment, details of which are not yet specified as of this writing.

This is CL's first major comeback after the disbandment of 2NE1 in 2015.
