It’s official, Carats! Lee Seokmin—aka DK or Dokyeom, main vocalist of Seventeen—is returning to the role of King Arthur in Xcalibur, a musical based on the British legend of “the boy who would be king.”

DK first played King Arthur in 2019. At the time, he said it was his dream to be in a musical.

“I'm so excited to be with the best staff and great seniors. It's not an easy challenge, but it's an honor to have this great opportunity,” he was quoted as saying.

DK grew so attached to the role that he cried backstage before his final curtain call. I’m sure he’s so ecstatic to be taking up Arthur’s sword once again!

The revival of Xcalibur will run from August 17 to November 7, 2021.
