Park Seo Joon's agency has officially revealed that he will be part of a new Marvel Studios film, months after it was first reported that he would be starring in The Marvels, the forthcoming sequel to Captain Marvel. When the news first broke, the agency refused to respond.

Awesome ENT announced on August 3 that the actor had flown out of Korea that day to film a Marvel film, but they refused to provide further details or verify the specific film in which he would appear.

In an official statement, they began by thanking everyone who has expressed interest in and support for Park Seo Joon as he takes on this new challenge. They are also aware that many people are interested in the title of the film in which he will appear, his character, the filming location, and his filming schedule, but the agency intends to reveal the details of the film at a later date.

Park Seo Joon is the third Korean actor to appear in a Marvel film, following Claudia Kim in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ma Dong Seok in Eternals.
